First Impressions
Ever since I moved downtown 2 1/2 years ago I have been waiting for someone to open a good coffee shop in my area that wasn’t Starbucks. Well now the wait is up.
I am currently in the newly opened Serda’s Coffee Company on Royal Street in downtown Mobile. While I have only enjoyed their Mocha Latte and scone they seem to have a good selection of wraps and paninis. They also offer ice cream, a good selection of bottled beer and my personal favorite, Guinness, is on tap. Add that on to the free wi-fi and I now have a new place to work on the days I’m not shooting.
Don’t look at this as a full review, but if you live or work in the downtown Mobile area then give the place a try.
-Cheers

Serda’s also has a bartender named Joe who makes a killer martini. Several of the “girls” from the office have gone to Serda’s after work. Those who are picking up children on the way home have coffee and the rest of us Midtowners imbibe. The place is very friendly and lots of fun during Art Walk.
